Workshops

To celebrate the Winter Solstice, Angel is hosting a 3.5 hour workshop in which students will be instructed how to paint a vibrant Holiday artwork. The image selected is based on a MFPA Christmas card, with an added reference to the Northern Lights recently seen in Michigan night skies. Students will be taught how to mix pigments and use different types of brushes to blend color and define form on a 9"x11" canvas.

The event will be hosted at the Oscoda Ausable Senior Center, a community nonprofit organization. Materials are included in the price. Please dress appropriately for working with acrylic paint. To register for the event, go to the Oscoda Ausable Senior Center. Limited space available. Pre-registration ends December 17, 2025, so please see Tammy at the Center to reserve your spot. If openings are still available by the 20th, then you may sign up at the door.
