I am accepting content collaborations and free art requests as part of my ongoing portfolio growth. I only accept certain types of projects according to the needs of my portfolio at a given time. Potential collaborators are invited to share their ideas with me so that we can both expand of our respective portfolios and establish industry connections!

WANTED: Writer who can provide a short, complete comic script!

Project Guidelines​​

Your story must be formatted as a comic script, not a novel chapter, with a length of 3 to 5 pages and up to 6 panels per page. Your comic script must tell a complete story with the final page serving as a conclusion.

The project must fall within one of these genres:

• Sword & sorcery

• Mesoamerican mythology

• Superheroes

• Shonen/Shojo manga

• Historical or cultural

• Dark fantasy

• Romance/Romantasy

• Cyber punk

 

​​This offer is intended only for original stories, not fan fiction of existing media. There will be no monetary compensation for this collaboration. The deal is, you give me a script to illustrate and display on my portfolio, you get FREE ARTWORK for your comic.

The interior artwork will be inked in black and white then rendered with manga-style screen tones. Lettering, speech bubbles, and SFX are NOT included. 

I can only accept 1 project at a time. Once I've found a collaborator, the call for collaboration will be closed.​​

• NSFW or +18 projects

• AI generated scripts

• Fan fiction

• Slice of Life​

Collaborator Requirements​

All collaborators must be 18 or older to apply.

Must provide your script in ENGLISH.

Regardless of your intentions for the finished comic (such as commercial use and publishing), all artwork from the comic will be uploaded to my portfolio for unrestricted public viewing. Only clients with paid commissions have the right to withdraw their work from my portfolio to be used exclusively for their commercial projects.

How to apply for Creator Collaboration

How do you get an artist to draw your comic for free? If your project meets the criteria listed above, then post your comic script onto Original Comics, which is a subreddit that I moderate.  Include " This is your opportunity to get FREE COMIC ART for your original story but you have to be willing to publicly post your script. Alternatively, you can post a link to your comic script if its hosted as a Google Doc or on some other platform.
